Tony Baxter: A Tribute

Once upon a time, in a faraway land,

A boy met Mr. Lincoln and thought it was grand.

He was inspired; entranced by this mechanical gent,

And by all the people who strived to invent.

So he boiled and toiled, serving snacks to the masses,

And looked at this world with rose-colored glasses.

“I see a thundering mountain, filled with laughter and screams,”

He thought as he handed children mouse-eared ice cream.

“I see a rabbit running free, sing zip-a-doo-dah day,

And a ride through a galaxy far, far away.

I see two tiny wings, with eyes big and yellow,

Which better not be erased by any moronic fellow.

I see a world that we can make ten times big as before,

Where we’ll create and enchant, play and explore.”

So thanks to the man who made his dreams come true

And then made them a reality – for me and for you.
